Our Customization Process

Our 5 step custom furniture design and development process ensures that your new furniture exceeds your expectations. Here’s how it works:

Initial Design Consultation

You bring us your ideas—and then we’ll bring them to life. In this step, you’ll tell us about the type of furniture you’re interested in, the features you want it to have, where it will be located, the approximate size you need, and more. You’ll also tell us about your aesthetic needs: the colours you’re interested in, the wood and hardware that catch your eye, decorative elements you’d like us to include, and other stylistic details.

Concept Development

With your ideas in mind, we begin to create a detailed concept for your new piece. Using sketches, 3D modelling, and more, we’ll create a few different concepts for your custom furniture

Material Selection, Detailed Design, and Approval

Once we agree on a concept, we’ll select the materials we think we’ll work best for that concept and then create a detailed 3D model. Once the materials, the price, and the design have been approved, we can begin to build your piece.

Crafting And Quality Assurance

Here’s the part we get most excited about: Building your custom furniture. We build all of our custom pieces with exceptional care—our craftspersonship is our lifeblood. Once the piece is complete, we check everything to ensure that there’s not a single blemish; we want the furniture to be perfect before we deliver it to your home or office.

Delivery and installation

This is the part you’ll be most excited about: We deliver and install your finished piece. We can uninstall existing furniture if need be, then dispose of it on your behalf, diverting as much material away from the landfill as possible. We’ll then install your new piece, clean up when we’re done, and finish a review with you to ensure that everything is installed perfectly for your needs.

How much does cabinet installation cost?

Will I need a permit?

Whether or not you’ll need a permit depends on how thoroughly we’ll need to modify your space to install your cabinets.
